Sensuous shape,
Your hips,
My hands resting,
Feeling the urgency to live…

My thumbs and fingers,
Gently cupping,
Framing the touch,
Offering surety…

Guiding intentions.

In my hands,
Your hips,
Smoothness of polished marble,
Tulip petal curve,
Whispering to my senses.

In my hands,
Small of your back,
Contours rising,
My heart,

Your body,
Sui generis, exquisite,
Glossy grace,
Hips murmuring lush physique,
Effortless ease to love,
Urging attention,
Demanding caress,
Unabashedly proud,
Owning me,
Wrecking my will…

And utterly,

    1. Suzanne, I’m thrilled that you liked this.

Sometimes, I believe that the fingertips see more deeply, and more definitively than the eyes.

The fingertips “see” with touch and a sense of heat, pairing perfectly with the ear’s sense of hearing.

I had this vision of fingertips defining the realm of the master sculptor….hence this piece.

      Hope this makes sense!!!

Thanks, nonetheless, for considering my gibberish!

      1. It’s not gibberish at all Bill! You make beautiful sense!

I so agree. There are often times when eyes are limited in a way. They can only take in so much and then they are left to guess the rest.

While fingertips know warmth and softness, creating a dimensional experience. It is no longer a waiting thing. It comes alive with touch.

I love your vision. When I read it the first time I had a wonderful sense of the sculptor himself in studio in the act of creation. When I read it again it was as though I was in a scented garden and he was lost in his creation under open skies and shaded places.

So, yes your thoughts are quite wonderful. Sensory in every beautiful way my friend.
