ocean wave

Your captivating smile,
Washing over me,
The gift of life,
The joy of love…
Lifting me.

Your hand in mine,
Flooding my heart,
Heat rolling,
The gift of life,
The joy of love…
Nourishing me.

Your eyes, my eyes,
Seeing our oneness,
An ache,
A need,
A surety in mutual desire…

An upwelling…

To us, gifting life,
Joy of love,
Final fulfillment…

Our lives,

  2. i like the connection of holding hands and the warmth that spreads from skin touching, it does make the heart glow knowing we are cherished like this. such a beautiful expression of not just love but deep friendship and care for another.

    1. Yes, Gina…I so agree with you. There is a sparkling in that moment…pure, perfect, profound.

So glad you enjoyed it, and I’m so grateful for your thoughts my friend. Have a wonderful Wednesday!

  3. The title fits so well. Upwelling brings nutrients from the depth to oxygen (breath) above. I love the oceanographic metaphor for Love’s action. Beautifully done, Bill.
