Rogue

Defying the norm,
We shout our love…

Denying the doldrums
Of listless romance.

Exorcising society’s
Stodgy structure,

Accepting only our cause…

Our cause
To soak-in one another,
Daffodil’s ardent desire,
Consuming jewels of spring rain,
Blossom,
Bursting sunlight.

Our cause
To spill passion’s sap,
Spreading elemental oils,
Upwelling of urgency,
Our skin,
Glistening.

Our cause
To consummate,
Connect,
Exude elegance of sensuality,
Make love,
As if it were our last day…

To live.

Boundless,
We stand our ground,
Clutching one another
In wholeness of heart,

Spurning earthly convention.

Succumbing to no one,
And no thing.

Living boldly,
Our arms locked in joy,

Unashamed in our love,

Totally,

Totally…

Rogue.
