…Just One Blossom

Five petals,
Cream radius, arching,
Reminding me of
Five senses…

My hunger to

Alabaster spoonfuls,
Ladling trade winds,

Golden hearts,
Amber hues, splashed,
Unabashedly painting petals,
Center of pleasure,
My ultimate

Submission to…
North Shore snow-white sands.

Submission to…
Scent, passion’s perfume.

Submission to…

One blossom,
One plumeria,
Five faceted jewel,
Behind your ear,

Waves of curl,
Sunset Beach surf,
Rolling your love,
Washing over me.

Trade Wind’s gemstone,
Fragrance of my future,
Palette of Hawaiian sunset,
Splashing your colors
My heart, your canvas.

Just your rich,
Loving eyes,
Tempting, teasing smile,
Undeniable sensuality,
Drawing me in,
Into you.

With just one blossom.

Having had two tours of duty in Hawaii when I was a submarine officer in the US Navy, I often find myself dreaming of Plumeria, their radiant beauty and tropical perfume. The stem of this blossom is just long enough to be tucked behind a woman’s ear.
