Guardian Dress

Black satin dress,
Dior’s darling,
I envy you so.

Night’s noir you’ve drizzled,
Smoothed on her bareness.

Her curves spread with you.

Her heat, warming you.

Her scent,

Soft peaks, lush valleys,
Her delicates,

My eyes,
Ocular fingertips,
Longing to touch.

Tailored, seamstress lines,
Demarcation of the seen,
Tempting unseen,
Compelling contrast,
Her silk skin,
Your glassy sheen,
So teasing.

Hook and eye,
Lock and key,
Gateway, access,
The small of her back,
Protected by you.

Black shiny zipper,
You desperately obscure,
Unwanting, unwilling,
Your treasures to share.

Yield to me.

Acquiesce to my needing.

Grant me her innermost,
Her essence unfolding.

Offer her redolence,
My tongue hungering to taste.

Release her to me,

Trust my promise,
Her to caress,

As you have…

Black satin,

Guardian dress.

    1. Thank you Gina! I reckon’ that it’s not fair for that little black dress to be in control of everything. On the other hand, strange….I guess, for the author to be having a debate with a little black dress.

Thank you for accommodating my foolishness. It just seemed like a light and playful scene.

      1. i found it light and amusing, sometimes we can get so jealous of something that touches the skin we long for too, like the lingering scent after a person leaves, the aromatic half life of sensuality. it is totally not fair for one object to have sole ownership of a moment!! your debate was very entertaining! not ever foolish i like seeing this lighter side of you.

  1. So love this!! That darn dress just won’t get out of the way! Lol.

I love how you said your eyes were “ocular fingertips longing to touch”. It really paints a vivid picture that your attention is fixated on your love. Your imagination is going wild. Love the frustration you exhibit in each line. Very powerful and beautiful, Bill!
