A Saving Serendipity

Panoply of sheen,
Rainbow’s raiment a gift,

Gracing unshackled sky,
Storm’s memory forgotten.

Eyes consuming these hues,
Heart’s resonance,
Real,

A weaving of senses,
A recipe,
To heal.

For just in that moment,
One chance to look skyward,

I now see forever,
My destiny clear.

Deep darkness now gone,
Pure colors I see,

Just elegant you,
Sky’s portrait of thee.

Life’s limits now lifted,
Love’s oasis in reach,

Just having found you,
Such softness you teach.

A beautiful glory,
Grace gifted to me,

The emptiness filled,
My saving

Serendipity.

    1. Hello my friend. So glad you liked it. I had a little time yesterday and wanted to write so badly. Not sure if I’ll be able to post every day for a bit more…but…at least I was able to set free some words.

  1. How marvelous to read you again, Bill! Your posting hiatus was definitely a very short break. You are amazingly prolific; quantity always tethered to quality. I wonder at your ability to create such powerful and lovely imagery, where each word has its own weight, each line breaks where it should to create the lyrical flow of your poetry. Once more, a very beautiful piece that needs to be read all over again and again.

    1. Oh, Marta…that is so very kind of you, and so meaningful to me. Thank you so very, very much.

My hiatus was work driven, and while I have made some progress with extra work duties assigned, I fear there will be upcoming periods where I cannot post everyday. Sigh. All I want to do is write…but that doesn’t pay the bills. Sigh…again.

I hope you have a beautiful and restful night my friend!
