Prelude To My Dreams

Beautiful night dreams,
So soon to be mine,
Will wait
In the quiet,

Knowing my need.

Knowing my need,

To dwell,
Taste again,
Hear again,
Just once more,

Recent rich memories
We purely composed,

And simply yet savor,
Soulful and slow,
Sweet decadent bond,
Lush love newly made.

Stave off my sleep,
Just of few minutes more,
And let me consume
Dim opulent hues
Moist mist all around.

Opalescent moon drops
Still glimmer like jewels,
Splashed on our bed,
Thwarting the dark,
Reflecting your sleep.

Soft cotton tangle,
White tussled and swirled,
Plush succulent sheets,
Still shimmering on you,
Your raiment the world.

Rose water scent,
Lingering dew on my lips,
Sweet nectar so faint,
Yet filling the mind,
And quenching my thirst.

Bodies still one,
Sensual symmetry of form
In sleep gentle swells,
Chests no longer heaving,
Peace silky and near.

So now time can run,
Sleep join and come too,
Body and mind so fulfilled,
I await rest again,

For this immaculate passion,
Will fill me once more,
Last moment awake,
Foretells night’s new story,
Retold once asleep.

This moment now done,
Indulgence awaits,
Your arms gather me hence,
These last waking moments,
Warm delicate touch,

Heaven awaits,
Night unfolding and calm.

Such a pure
And so perfect…

Prelude to my dreams.

It’s just me, and the way my mind works…right or wrong…I can’t get such words out of my head. They simply need to be set free.

      Does that make sense?
