Let Me Be Your Answer

I can sense a weight in your eyes.

A heaviness,
Leaden,
Uneasy,
Exhausted,
Questioning,

Unsure of so many things,
For the way ahead
In your life…

The right and sure place
For your heart,
And your love.

The calm
And sanctuary
To hold you,
And offer peace,
And the richness of completion.

So…

If you wonder who will
Stand with you
In success and failure…

If you wonder who can provide
For you a surety and certain comfort…

If you wonder who will please you
And meet all your physical
And emotional needs…

If you wonder who will
Cradle your heart gently,
And forever…

Seek no further,

Question no further,

Stop wondering
About the answers

As there is only one.

I am here,
For you,
And only you,

For eternity.

The answer to
Your questions
Stands before you,
Now.

Let me…

Let me be your answer.

  1. And you’re doing an excellent job! I’m still trying to find what works for me. I have a lot on rhym in me for poetry, however, I would also like to exercise just plain writing. I need the practice desperately. I want to get better. Maybe I’m over thinking it and just need to write what’s flowing right now and stop forcing my poor writings of the readers.
