Our Perfect Prism

We see the world
Differently from others.

What they see,
As pure white light,
Our passion dissociates
Into a spectrum of color,
Evoking our art,
Evoking our earnestness,
Defining our world.

Their drab every day,
Is our panoply
Of love pigments,
Painting one another,

Their emptiness is our cornucopia,
Diversity and fullness of taste,
Satisfying our souls,
Satiating our hunger,
Consummating what we long for.

That’s the beauty,

Our beauty…

Of being in a special place,

Where nothing matters,
Other than you,

And me.

Our life,
Our love,
Our passion,

Drink in
This world,

Indulging in the flavor,
The exhilarating flavor,
Of being truly,

And in love.

Perhaps we bend light…

You shape me.

I shape you.

This is our perfect

      1. Oh definately! If I couldn’t write I’d probably combust somehow….
Yes the world is a troubling place.
It’s nice to read about things that make our hearts swoon or about the beautiful earth itself…

      2. I so totally agree. Life is here, now, to be consumed in the moment…as it is neither certain nor indefinite. All the more reason to savor life, and enjoy the shade of whatever provides our oasis. Yes?

      3. YesI agree! You summed it up perfectly. I try to enjoy every single day I have here because the only thing about life that is certain, is death. Wow that took a dark turn. Sorry. ☺

      4. Not to worry…that is the starkness of our world, and adds an urgency to our writing and creativity. We just need to keep living, and writing about it. To me, that adds a depth of understanding, and acceptance.

      5. You’re on! That’s a deal! In the end, we will be richer and more fulfilled. Just to set aside a few moments every day to think, and put words together…food for the heart.
